On Wednesday, I observed an advanced listening class. The class was taught by Olivia James. Two students presented opposing arguments about whether robots were harmful or not. The students had previously worked in groups to create their arguments and gather information about the topic. The class then discussed the importance of listening while debating. After that, the students watched a short video about Elon Musk's call to ban killer robots. There were English subtitles on the video. The video and specific vocabulary words within the video were then discussed. The students were very engaged and involved in the lesson.
