I met with MaoMao and I helped him out with practicing for the British English test. We talked about prompts and gave a few practice ones. He had to listen to the prompt and then say a short response involving three points that had to be brought up while he spoke. His prompt was: Name something important to you and list where you got it, how long you have had it, and why it is important. The first time around, MaoMao did not do so well. I gave him speech pointers. He tried again after our brief discussion and elaborated on each answer instead of giving a short reply. Overall, he did very well and was able to fix his speech tremendously. We talked about our session together and what he got out of our meetings. He liked our meetings very much. Overall, it was good session.
