I talked to Melis again for my third conversation partner session. Her English is really good. She makes mistakes occasionally with more complex grammar, but she would be considered an advanced level speaker. Melis likes learning languages and is currently learning French. She knows German, English, and Turkish. She was born in Germany but her family is from Turkey, so she grew up speaking Turkish and German, and learned English in school.
