Ellie Sims CP#4

Date: 4/5/18
Location: McDonalds on Tennessee

I met with MaoMao and we went to eat at McDonalds. We talked a lot about what he had done so far in the week and he said that he was very busy studying. We ate and then went on a short walk. We played a game were I would point out things as we went and he would have to name synonymous words to them. I would say, "car" and he would say, "vehicle" and so on. After a while we stopped playing and we talked about the difference in walking cultures around the world. I told him that America doesn't really have a walking culture, especially when it comes to countries like Korea and China. He agreed and said that it was so easy to get around his home town but in America he said he has become quite fat. I thought it was funny that most of my international friends usually say the same thing. We talked about how fast food and the accessibility of such things makes it easier to gain weight in America. As well as the fact that most people drive or take the bus. Overall, it was a nice meeting.
