15/04/18 This morning was our last session.  We continued to work on unprepared speech particularly with unique topics as this was what caused the most hesitation in SoYoung's responses yesterday.  We did two exercises, 1) I had her describe her home in Soul, using the five senses.  She had to think of new and unique vocabulary and construct sentence that were very descriptive.  2) We discussed the topic of 'superstitions'.  I learnt a number of Korean superstitions and she learnt a number of European based ones that have transferred to the US.  This was a quite fun cultural exchange.  Tip for Christian and Ellie- don't eat seaweed/kelp soup if you have an important meeting or event coming up, very bad luck!
