Colleen TS 6- Maria

03/04/18 Maria and I meet at noon. We reviewed noun work from the previous meeting.  We worked on her glossary, and written sentences.  In previous sessions we had used The Call of the Wild for reading aloud practice, I had told her in summary what the story was about.  On this day, we looked at all of the chapter titles, Maria wrote them out.  We discussed some new words such as primordial from the chapter titles.  I gave Maria an assignment, she is supposed to think about the story using the chapter titles as prompts, and next time we meet she is going to tell me the story in her own words.  I told her not to write out anything, just to think about it.  This will give her practice in forming her own thoughts and speaking them in English.
