Topic: Presentation Discussion
I met with Andrea today and we discussed the presentation she was nervous about having to present to her class. We went over what she had to write on the PowerPoint and proofread what she had finalized to go on the presentation. After correcting and looking over the PowerPoint, Andrea put the PowerPoint together. We went over what verb tenses are used and where they should be in the presentation. After she finished, she practiced presenting in front of me and I gave her some pointers on the pronunciation and the tenses she used. Overall, she did very well in the session. We practiced a lot and then we decided to prep for her reading quiz. We did a practice a reading quiz scenario and then did some comprehension questions to help Andrea with her comprehension skills. It went over really well and Andrea seemed like she was ready for her quiz. It was a good session.
