Topic: Session Review
I met with Karina and we talked about how she thinks the session went and how she felt about my tutoring. She told me that she really felt like our tutoring sessions had helped her progress. I asked her what she thinks I should improve on or do differently and she said that it would help to do more activities together. We talked about what her goals were and if she was taking another session at CIES. She said that she was going to do next session and that she really wanted to continue to improve her speaking ability. We talked about her speaking some more and did a small activity for talking. We continued to speak for the rest of the session about her future in the United States and what she wanted to get out of her stay here. Overall, I think that our sessions went really well and it was joy to be able to teach Karina.
