Topic: Reading Exercises
I met with Karina today. We tried reading exercises were I timed her and she would read a short passage. We had done this in the past and she wanted to continue to do them to sharpen her reading and comprehension skills. After I gave her a series of comprehension questions that she had to answer. We went over the questions and looked at her mistakes. We questioned why she made certain choices that were wrong and I asked her why she picked those over the other ones. After that, I explained what made the correct answer right and had her explain what she thought about that answer. We continued it several times for the lesson and then we talked about what she wanted to improve on before he exams. We decided to do listening next time. The session went well overall.
